Beginning in January of 2014, The Olympus Project is piloting a peer mentorship program for community college students. Our goal is to connect current and soon-to-be community college students to graduates, because the easiest way to climb a mountain is to get a hand up from someone at the top!

Mentees: Apply to be matched to one of our mentors.  They have all graduated from the community college system and transferred to four-year institutions. Now they’re ready and waiting to help you reach your goals.

Mentors: Are you a successful graduate of the community college system? Do you believe that everyone deserves a quality education? Apply to join our team and make a difference.

The Program

  • Mentors will talk weekly with mentees via phone or video-chat, helping mentees with both academic and non-academic challenges.
  • We will match mentees to mentors based on area of study and future aspirations.
  • The pilot program will be completely free.

Mentor applications for spring are closed. Check back in in March to apply for fall!
If you would be interested in being a mentee, you can access the application here.
